Bar Manager at Hotel B since 2018, Axel Romero is a master in the art of cocktail making, menu design and artisan spirits. A visionary mind that knows his way around the bar having worked previously at Astrid & Gastón’s bar, Axel is known for his innovative creations such as the Candelaria cocktail, inspired in the mystic Puneño celebration and served in a handmade cup emulating the masks worn by dancing devils. A turning point in his career happened in 2018 when he was awarded the title of Best Bartender in Peru at the SUMMUM Awards. Axel’s passion for his job is demonstrated in his craft and his characteristic charismatic personality that shines through.
