Is food one of the main reasons you want to visit Peru? If so, you are not alone! Eating is one of our favorite pastimes, and we are rather spoiled for choice in Lima. At Hotel B, our famous afternoon tea (we call it “lonche”) is included for our guests. The question is where to eat: in the library, courtyard or rooftop terrace…
With a focus on native ingredients and Peruvian delicacies, our menu focuses on local and seasonal produce. Bringing together the best Peruvian and international ingredients and techniques to create sophisticated fusion cuisine.
The Patio is a peaceful space away from the city’s hustle and bustle, an internal courtyard between the historic and contemporary wings of our hotel. With a living wall, water feature and modern art everywhere you look, it is a favorite spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The Library is where you will find our iconic breakfast and afternoon tea spreads. We serve Italian coffee, a selection of teas, homemade Peruvian hot chocolate (a family recipe), fresh seasonal fruit, cereals and traditional pastries, sandwiches and cakes.
Whether you go on foot, on one of our
bicycles, or by taxi, Barranco is waiting to be explored.
Art galleries, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, historic buildings, the Pacific Coast – there’s a lot on our doorstep. So that you can make the most of your time in Lima, and pick out the places that interest you most, we will give you a hand-painted map with all the best picks.
The owners have impeccable taste and it showed throughout. Plus the there are over 300 pieces of wonderful and valuable pieces of art. Combining the two is a terrific way to spend our first several nights in Lima. Service was great, breakfast wonderful and rooms very nice. I can’t speak highly enough about this hotel.

Stopped in for coffee Left with a most Memorable Experience! A local friend recommended afternoon coffee at the hotel, a lovely, historically grand spot in the artsy Barranco section of Lima. (…) The wait staff was impressive, especially our server, Miguel! His attention to detail, knowledge of the menu and commitment to our enjoyment was truly remarkable! And yes, the coffee and desserts are wonderful! Don’t miss out on this 5-Star culinary opportunity.

Spent two nights at this oasis of a hotel. Location was perfect for exploring the Barranco area and local shops and galleries. Restaurant/Bar was always packed day and night. Breakfast and tea were excellent and we also took the mixology class. For a 4 star hotel the amenities and service were 5 star. We also took advantage of the in room massages which were excellent!!! This is the place to stay in Lima to live like a local.

This was a great recommendation from friends and I can only recommend to others. The service, the rooms, and the food was fabulous. The hotel is decorated with refined taste and art, all in the setting of a fabulous colonial house. And the dinner beat the Kjolle offering (which is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in town.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! No matter my question or request, they were warm and responsive. That naturally counts for a lot, but counts even more so when you are a solo female traveler. I would absolutely recommend Hotel B to anyone planning to stay in Lima who’s looking for a unique boutique experience.

Such a warm welcome from the charming Concierge to an awesome hotel adorned with stunning art and in every way a feast for the senses from the poem left on our bed to the wonderfully smelling toiletries. The buffet breakfast would be hard to beat in the library or in a small terrace with classical music playing. The bar was lively until the small hours of the morning with great snacks and cocktails. A few minutes walk to the Pacific Ocean and in a Shoreditch like neighbourhood with an artsy feel. The beds were among the most comfortable in the world. We would love to return. You have created something truly wonderful.
