Afternoon teatime is known as “lonche” in Peru, and is a legacy of the English influence in Peru during the 19th century following independence.
To this day, El Lonche is an important ritual in Lima’s political and social circles. When in Lima, we invite our guests to make as the Limeñas do and press pause in the afternoon to enjoy something sweet as you slip into conversations with friends and fellow guests.
Most of the artwork at B is strikingly modern, with the exception of The Library, which is an ode to literature, history and culture. Don’t miss the Pre-Columbian throw hanging on the wall dating back to 800 A.D.
